I have learnt with great sorrow of the avalanche that fell on a Pakistani army base near Siachen Glacier burying a large number of military personnel.

I would like to express my heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to You, to the bereaved families of the dead and wounded and to all our Pakistani brothers and sisters.
