Press Release Regarding the Terrorist Attack Perpetrated in Kazakhstan on June 5th

We condemn and denounce the terrorist attack perpetrated by unidentified persons against two shops selling hunting materials and a Military Unit in the city of Aktobe in western Kazakhstan yesterday (June 5th) which resulted in the death of three civilians and three soldiers in total, and left injured six soldiers and three police officers.

We wish God's mercy on those who lost their lives, a speedy recovery to the injured and convey our condolences to their families and the brotherly people of Kazakhstan.

This heinous attack targeting innocent people without discrimination has demonstrated once again that full solidarity and cooperation of the international community is essential for eliminating the terrorism scourge. Turkey, which has been fighting against terrorism for many years and is still waging this fight, is ready to cooperate with Kazakhstan in its fight against terrorism.
